This thing has been lurking around the boathouse for years. It's wrapped in rags as long as I can remember. I don't have the time to clear the boat to look for a manufacturer's ID plate, so I wonder if one of you has a clue what this is.
I would say it is about 35 to 40 ft and has a planing hull. All I know more is that it has two Perkins straight sixes under the bonnet.

Although it's quite old, it still has some nice lines (apart from the rediculous spray-hood). The images are taken years ago, but I think the boat is still in the same condition today.

    I'd say its a Fairey Swordsman 38.

Edited to say, on reflection it looks more like a Fairey Huntsman 31.

I was thinking the exact same thing. That little add-on was definitely a "function over form" bit. Bin that hood and she's definitely a classy looking old girl.

CODOG is the winner. Just did some browsing, which is easy when you know the brand name. It must be a 31 or 33. Surprisingly these "things" are still going for over $100K:eek:

I'll make sure not to refer to it as "the old hump" at the yard.
