    Hi all,

C2-The Creek was in Barcelona last week. It seems they are doing some painting works.

Sorry for the picture's quality, they were taken with my mobile phone.

Wonderful photos. The quality is pretty good considering you took them with a mobile. I love A&R's tender handling system, great stuff.

You sure this is from a mobile phone? It seems good quality.

Yes, it is a mobile with 2MP camera.

C2 is still in Barcelona (Port Vell, in front of Maremagnum), they are doing some works in the superstructure.

Multiple circumnavs and I have never made a port call in The Creek. Been up one without a paddle, but that's a different story.

Usually there is a flag state associated with the hailing port. If I weren't so old and tech challenged I could probably find this on Twitter, but thankfully I do believe that I am yet a twit.

Can anyone tell me where C2's hailing port is located and is it a nice place to raise hail?

    Hi,

The Creek is a port of registry that the Caymans have added for thise who do not want Georgetown, they also offer Bloody Bay.

An example of this is the Christensen "Odessa", she is registered in Bloody Bay.

You can see this in a photo made my fellow member Tom (Capt Tom)...

Is "Cayman Islands" or C.I. no longer required, i.e., the flag state identifier? Has been for the many yachts I have registered in the past.

    Hi,

    Stan- I just got this from a C I Surveyor I know.

There's never been a requirement to have C.I. Just the actual PORT of registry is sufficient. The flag hanging off the stern shows what country the port is in.

I recall being on the boat you and I were introduced on by Merle where we had to add C.I. after Georgetown and have the name visible when the transom door was open.

Just like going through customs & immigration, pray that you get the right inspector.

Thank you for the clarification, K1W1.
