    Hi Everyone,

I just went under contract to buy a 2014 Azimut 54 with 500 hours on the MAN r6-730 engines. it also has a seakeeper. I plan to own it for 3 years. I estimate we will put 300 hours of use each year, or 1,000 hours total over 3 years. I have a rough budget for maintenance, but was hoping to start to get it to be more precise. I know the 1,000 hour service will be needed at some point. Can the forum provide additional input on:

    1) ballpark cost of 1,000 hour maintenance
    2) other regular maintenance that will be needed for boat and ballpark costs
    3) any risks/concerns of things that may or are likely to go wrong
    4) overall thoughts on quality of the boat and things to watch out for.
    5) our survey is scheduled for Thursday, please let me know anything to be sure to have checked other than what a typical survey will check.

thanks in advance for the feedback.

1,2,3 that ballpark is Yankee Stadium from the box seats behind home plate to the nose bleed seats by the foul posts. Extremely rough 10% of new list price but ….
4 Go to the search feature and put in Azimut. Lots to read.
    5 Electrical systems.
