Burger Boat Company, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, U.S.A. — Burger Boat Company is proud to invite the community to the launching of Tenacity on June 2, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Arnie Johnson from Minnesota, will be present at the ceremony. This yacht is their first custom yacht and their first Burger. Tenacity is a traditionally styled, four stateroom, raised pilothouse motor yacht with raised-panel Makoré (African Cherry) throughout and Madrone burl wood accent panels. The interior décor has an “arched” design element that flows tastefully in the galley, master and dining area along with complementary green marbles and granites. The galley allows ample space to provide a center island bar, dinette forward with a split table and plenty of luxury appliances. The electronics package is impressive with several “black boxes,” a Furuno dual frequency deep water sonar, a night vision camera and a chart plotter that is accessible through plasma TV’s in the main salon, galley and Captain’s stateroom. There are two cranes on the boat deck: one for launching the 17'6” (5.3m) tender and the other for launching the water toys. Tenacity will cruise the St. Lawrence and the east coast this summer, the Bahamas and Caribbean next winter and possibly Europe in the summer of 2006. The Johnsons started from modest means in their younger years and proved that “tenacity” does pay off! The most important motivator in their life is the statement, “To be enthusiastic, you’ve got to act enthusiastic.”
