Building working replica of HMS Victory - Questions inside

    Hello,

    I am currently having a working replica of the HMS Victory built, which is already underway. I have a few questions:

    1.) How fast could this ship turn half-mast in a thunderstorm?
    2.) How many men would be needed to run this ship including manning the cannons. (104 total guns)
    3.) How many lbs of food would need to be stored to feed the crew for 3 days?

    Any help would be appreciated. The ship is scheduled to be completed in 3 months and I am anxious to get underway. I plan on sinking the original HMS Victory. Thanks

    How can you already be building a replica without studying the original Nelson 3 decker?? Do you call in CG hoax's too?

    As far as how many men the number is 821 plus officers. This and much more info is available from the original HMS Victory's web site. If you plan to build this vessel today you'd best have more money than Ft. Knox and have no desire to ever get it back since she'll have no resale value.
