Dutch yard Van der Valk's first unit in the 25.5-meter Modern Flybridge has been seen outside of the shed for the first time, as the yard recently showcased. This yacht is being built under speculation and as far as we can tell does not have an owner. The yacht is to be completed in early 2021 as suggested by the yard in prior press releases. In the photos below you can get an idea of the progress that has been made on the build. At the point these photos were taken the majority of the glazing still needed to be installed.

The 25.5-meter Modern Flybridge is a collaborative effort between the yard and designer Cor d Rover. Guest capacity is for eight in four cabins which includes a master, VIP and two twins. The interior of the yacht will be according to three themes the yard developed called 'Cosy Cognac', 'Cyan Life' and 'Sensation White'. An owner can choose the interior style from these options. Which ever option they choose the interior will be light-filled with the large windows on all sides.

Performance is by Volvo power using three Volvo Penta IPS 1050s which should permit a 26-knot top-end when the throttles are opened. The major facets to be completed on the exterior include installation of the glazing, fitment of finished panels and painting of the yacht. The 25.5-meter Modern Flybridge should be launched again later this year with a completion period early in 2021.
