Today I checked my house batteries (Trojan's) and saw them bubbling a little, question, is this OK? FYI, charging with solar panels, 14,1 Vdc at that time, battery temperature 91.7F (33C) which is local environment temp (Curacao). https://www.facebook.com/racingeric/videos/714137215355315/?l=3296520853051587949
There is a long explanation to what is happening that I can not properly explain with the correct terms. Thru a normal recharge cycle, the bubbles are normal. When the batteries stop absorbing current, they should settle around 13.6 Vdc. You can check the Trojan Volt/charge profile and make sure your not over charging. If required adjust your charger or charger controller. Your question and video is a great reminder to all that flooded (wet) batteries must be watched and maintained with the proper level of electrolyte (distilled water).
