Quote from the skipper " it was high tide so the wall was not visible".

You would think they would print a large paper or a book of many different papers that showed things like land masses, channels, markers, and , lets say, sea walls.............

I saw the news story they day it broke. I seem to recall that he actually anchored his boat right on top of that sea wall, and that the chances of landing on it were slim to none. Well, he scored that slim chance. Estimated 40 to 60 grand in repairs, is what I heard.

I'm amazed it teeter tottered and didn't fall off. Would have been a lot more than 40-60 K. Heck, the carpet didn't even get wet.

Check out that tender way far aft (port), it's proper and level. Crew on the for deck standing vertical.
    Damm, that's a strong ship.

I'm also cheating, I've seen this pic before.

The rocks behind and underneath the hull are also in shadow, and the vessel is reflected in the water (even thogh its hazed by the ripples).

I seem to recall seeing that pic a long time ago somewhere.

Just Google SS Princess May and you will find no end of references to the event.
