Many of you have probably heard of the s/y Valquest. If you did not, she is a luxury sailyacht under construction by Bloemsma & Van Breemen. This yard is known for building the famous motor yacht, Flying Eagle. In contrast, this sail yacht, the Valquest is another creation from the Dubois Naval Architects in conjunction with the Bloemsma & Van Breemen yard.

The s/y Valquest is 134 feet long or 41M. She has a beam of some 29.37 feet or 8.9M and a draught of 13.69 feet or 4.15M. The vessel is of all aluminum construction- being the hull and superstructure- and according to Bloemsma & Van Breemen, these two main components are complete.

The Valquest will feature an Oyster/Off-white-like hull color along with a pristine white superstructure. Her bow will feature twin-prow anchors to keep her fixed when necessary. Her mainsail will be in-boom system and the jibs-two of them- will be automatic roller furlers.

Once more, the naval architect is Dubois Naval Architects. The yacht is being built by Bloemsma & Van Breemen yard. For more on this upcoming launch you can visit:
