I have a 95 355 carver motoryacht , the salon has these huge slidding glass windows . They open and close on this fur lined weather stripping , it looks to be a plastic base . Does anyone know who changes those in ny or where I can order it and how easy it is to change?
These are called Schlegals. Taylor made is the window company and you can order the stuff by the foot. I just did mine last year. Taylor Made Systems - Hardware & Accessories - Sliding Side Window Assembly
Where would I find directions to get glass out and then remove the old weatherstrip and reinstall . Do you have same boat , ifso any tips so I don't break anything . Thankyou .
Mine is a 370 but has the same frames. I was able to slide one window over and lift up and pull one up enough to put the piece in. I didn't need to remove it at all.
Ok so I bought the stripping can anyone give me details on how to remove windows or stripping and how to put new in, Thankyou
