after dropping over the past few months, it looks like prices have ticked up in the past couple of weeks.

These were the best diesel prices i was able to find along my trip south, I made quite a few phone calls and web searching in the process...

No surprise, these three docks are usually among the cheapest. it still pays to call as sometimes you can find a dock which hasnt' gotten a higher priced delivery yet...

October 12: Tidewater Yacht Agency in Porthsmouth, 3.39
October 17: Osprey Marina in south Myrtle, 3.48
October 25: Ft Pierce Port Petroleum, 3.69

It was the first time i stop at Ft Pierce Petroleum as i usually refuel in Miami (truck delivery) but this was 0.20 cheaper than the truck or 0.15 cheaper than Peterson Barge in FLL. Right now in Florida most marinas are over $4 a gallon, so that was about 0.30 to 0.40 a gallon savings... adds up when you need 1200USG!

I just took fuel yesterday of about 2000 gallons and the price was 3.41 for a truck in fort lauderdale.

The sad part ??? there are hundreds of tankers out there all loaded, waiting for the call from the broker, no way are the brokers paying anywhere close to 100.00 pbbl...when the benchmark was 40.00, the refiners were paying just over 20.00
