  1. I read the report and I find the Bering Yacht a gem.
And she seams solid and very well built.
I have two comment: The saloon is small, the galley very large, I will try to go the other way around.
I see two berths for the crew aft, they seams to lake amenities and escape route. But perhaps I misinterpreted the accommodation plan.
Beside that, you put two wing station and you are on a real ship.
I love this boat, it is the real deal, not afraid of a North Atlantic crossing in winter.

    Suitability for use.

    Hi.
Going by all the details given. Here and elsewhere
    She'd be near perfect.
Maybe a tad more flare in bow for lift?.

The 55 is virtually the baby sister of my favourite boat.
    Also my screen saver.
Go to google and type in "Harvester"
Look at the Scottish Trawler brought up on there.

That's what I used to do. But in the 50's.
    With boats to match.
We lost a few most yrs. and these modern versions are the accumulation of the yrs experiences developed from that.
Safest boats in the world. Anywhere.. Then some.

    Keep dreaming.
