Italian yard Benetti Yachts has been very busy recently. Not only building yachts within their current order book but also signing new orders. Within the last year, Benetti has signed seven yachts above 50-meters LOA. Their newest venture is this 70-meter superyacht being called Project 169 to be built as hull FB270 for an experienced yacht customer. Details with the new yacht are still sketchy as the vessel is in finalization stages of pooling the new owner's whims for implementation into the project. The design is in-house Benetti with significant cooperation from the owner themselves. The CCO at Benetti, Fabio Ermetto said, "These owners turn to us with very special requests for specific designs based on long standing yachting experience, while never compromising the highest levels of operation and performance."

"This is — in addition — the result of our consolidated financial strength, developed through the years by earning the trust of clients around the globe,” he added. As the months roll on, more information should emerge about this new project. Benetti has a new flagship under construction now too. It is a 107-meter superyacht which arrived at three pieces at their yard late last year. That project is being built under build number FB277.
