wondering the same thing myself Looks like the established mega yacht brokerage houses have all dropped the vessel as a black version of a white elephant and no longer are listing her. One of the few places I found a listing posted on the net was at http://www.ship-find.com/yachtrb.htm I have received intelligence that those who have looked at her thought she was a very poor quality conversion and not even worth the $15M current asking price. Mega yacht conversions are VERY difficult to pull off and this one had the worst of all worlds...people who just didn't know their asses from holes in the ground when it comes to mega yachts! This was literally their first go and it really shows. Anyway, I was very close to the project from its inception to the delivery to Ft. Pierce, FL three years ago in Sept. '02 and have a few stories I could tell and suspect much about why the BR is a big bust but will keep them in my hat for a while longer.
agreed that the CORMORANT would make a fabulous expedition yacht conversion considering that she come with her own sub but she is rather narrow for her length. Still, she has great potential and I am surprised no one has see this (besides yourself).
uhh OK, I'll admit. I don't get it. Is that as ridiculous to the trained eye, as it is eccentric to the untrained (me)?
