Hi, I came across this site where these guys are going at it as two man teams. http://www.barcelonaworldrace.com/
I've been following it since it began... technically, before that even. It was a close well fought race at first. Now that they're into the southern ocean it's a race of attrition. Of the nine that started, only 5 are still sailing. Exciting stuff though!
Up until last week I was thinking that the final leg up through the Atlantic was going to be pretty much a follow the leader... everything status quo unless there was a significant breakage on one of the boats. Over the last couple of days though a lot's changed. Hugo Boss is in a much better position to make up miles now! I doubt they'll be able to get past Paprec-Virbac 2 who are less than 900 miles to the finish. Given the route they all have to take to get back into the Med, their options are limited... but they do have better wind right now. At least they're going to make the leaders work for it.
