    - no need to test when flying back to the US
    - effective July 1st, no more clearing out when leaving the bahamas. That was a real PITA when returning from Exumas forcing us to stop

    and the best… health visa requirement appear to be going away although not officially confirmed just yet. Some news sources say it’s gone, Nassau Guardian says cabinet still need to confirm. Stay tuned.

    Update. The health visa is going away but not the testing. Still need a test within 3 days of arrival, RT-PCR if unvaxed, rapid antigen if vaxed.

    It s a bit silly since it is proven that the vax doesn’t prevent infection… oh well it will keep the labs profit up!

    And, private boats will not need to clear out anymore. Not sure of the date of that implementation.

    Update, Health Visa and Testing have been dropped for Vaccinated travelers. From Bahamas Web Site:
    • Effective 19 June 2022 fully vaccinated travellers will no longer be required to submit to pre-travel COVID-19 testing to enter the country.Instead, valid proof of vaccination must be presented before boarding a flight to The Bahamas.
