I know that one of the members in this forum just recently bought a 78 Fairline Squadron. You can talk to him about it. I don't know too much about the Azimut 80.

I would stay far away from sunseeker and princess. Quality is not the best, access to maintanence items are a bear. The Azimut is the best of the bunch mentioned but they still have their issues....... access to parts in the US, electrical has always been a downfall of theirs............. I would take a good hard look at the 80' Hatteras.........

Ahhhhh a boat owners life summed up in one simple sentence.

    Sealover,
You may not be quite confused enough yet, so let me help you. :D Talk with 10 boaters and you'll probably get 10 different answers. I've captained several Sunseekers up to 60 ft, Azimuts to 68 ft and currently a 2002 50 ft Viking Sport Cruiser (Princess). Of the bunch I like the Viking best overall for seakeeping and systems, folllowed by the Sunseeker and don't like the Azimuts. Unimpressed with where Hattaras has been going lately.
DK your location. It's very relevent for parts, service, etc. Good luck.
