I was kayaking near Bella Bella in BC two days ago and saw a magnificant yacht. She had a helicopter on top and no one seemed to know who owned her or where she was from. The name on the ship was Aviva or possibly Avivva. It was difficult to read because the letters were squished together. I've googled that name and am finding Aviva's that don't look quite right. She was docked at the Shearwater Marina. Anyone have any more info? Her crew may have been Australian. No one knew who the owners are. They have been going up that way for a few years, but never come ashore.
Welcome Adrienne Tanne. Have a look at this first, then use the search option on the bar above. http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/abeking-rasmussen-yacht/10058-aviva-abu-dhabi.html?highlight=Aviva I'm sure folk here will fill you in further on the yacht - but we don't discuss owners. This is to preserve their security and privacy.
Hi, None of the AVIVA'S have been helicopter equipped under that name. Is this the yacht you saw, the Westport 164 EVVIVA.? http://yachts.monacoeye.com/pages/westport_164_2_evviva_001.php
Adrienne Tanne, welcome to YF.com. "Evviva" was built by Westport yachts in the US. She is hull 5002 or hull #2 of the 164' series they build. "Vango" was the first and the newest right now is hull 5007 called "Boardwalk".
