Wards does not have after hours support?
Any manuals? Logs? Notes or contact info from previous captain or manager?

I haven’t tried Ward. Just Atlas. I had an issue 3 weeks ago and one of their tech walked me thru troubleshooting and a reset. But that was on a week day.

what’s odd is that the Lock Screen tells me what pin to enter. I went thru the manual and found another PIN hand written next to the first one That didn’t work but then when it asks for a pin it tells me to enter the second one. Makes no sense.

Never heard of the Atlas stuff having issues and considered it rock solid. Why I am alarmed that nobody is on the other end of the phone at any hour of any day.
If this is starting into a trend, time to start getting some support after hour phone numbers.
Maybe time also to get a tech on board and ensure this nuisance stuff is not a reoccurring issue.
Proprietary software can be confusing if your not on the same logic level.
I thought Ward supported Atlas stuff down there. Never an issue up here so I'm just assuming.

Is there a way to bypass the Atlas? Considering you're on a US built boat, it might have a way to bypass it and just go straight from boat to shorepower.

Unfortunately no. I checked everything incl the manual. Plus from what i understand the atlas replaces the isolation transformer so no neutral coming aboard.

Turned out to be a comm issue between the screen and the CPU. A quick call to Atlas this morning got me back in business by recycling a small switch on the CPU.

Gaww, cycling a switch was the high-tech repair?
It didn't clear on it's own power off cycle before the gen-sets were enabled?
You get the 24hour phone number?

Any issue I've ever had w Atlas has been related to temp and a reset, often with a cleaning in between.

Does that board inside have a backup battery in it? I'm thinking it does and keeps power to the board for a while....
