    Hello everyone,
As a recent arrival to the world of big yachts, but a lover of boats for most of my life, all of these new yachts are still a great unknown. This boat tip-toed into port in the pale light of dawn, took on a pilot just outside the breakwater and tied up next to the luxocruiser Crystal Symphony. Can someone fill me in on the boat's identity? Does it have a high performance hull to match its appearance? How can i get invited aboard?
Hasta la proxima vez, con gusto,
    rob

    Hi,

Kevin- Did you edit your post?

The notification e mail I got had a few more words in it than I see in your post above.

Also I got another one today and when I clicked on the link went back to an old post I had made last year the message shown in the notification e mail just wasn't there and I couldn't find the posters user name when I did a search on it.

BTW- I would say it's called Le Levant

Yes K1W1, I edited it... didn't want to maybe offend anyone. ;)

As for the other notification, it could just be that whatever the person posted wasn't appropriate (advertising, irrelevant info perhaps?) and was deleted before you clicked the link to the thread. Then we you got there, only your post was left. I don't know for sure since I didn't personally delete any posts yet this morning.

Yes, that's the one.... operated by "Companie des Iles du Ponant". I knew I'd seen pictures before in the Med, I just couldn't remember the name.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the explanation Kevin.

It was advertising from a company I use and know well. I may even know the poster.

Oops, it is Le Levant, a cruise ship

Thanks to all of you who know your boats. Sorry about that. I guess the large lifeboats should have been the give-away. it sure would make a nice megayacht. Until next time,

    Hi,

It is actually advertised on one of the charter websites as a private yacht feeling vessel.

The trend towards bigger and bigger these days makes it hard to tell what is what sometimes. Bigger yachts often need to carry "normal" looking lifeboats just as this ship does.
