Can someone tell me where area 3 is?

This could be something to do with military, but I am not sure.

    All help would be appreciated

    Thanks

If it is about an insurance policy, there are three areas of war risks (groups of countries), where No 3 is the lowest risk.

No, nothing to do with insurance.

It should be an area somewhere in the world..
We've just had a request for an installation to work in "area 3".

Just need some infomation on this area so we can give them enough coverage.

It's 48 Areas away from where they are hiding the secret aliens.
    But, don't tell anyone.

    Hi,

If it's communications coverage then take a look here

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Selective_Calling#Digital_Selective_Calling

Scroll down to GMDSS Sea Areas about 1/2 way down the page.

You can buy completely class approved GMDSS Consoles for this area restriction and all the way to A4 if you need it. A GMDSS Console isn't something that the average TV Repair man can knock up in his garage during the commercial breaks on the telly.

Exactly what needs to go into them also varies on where the vessel is registered the MCA Having their very own version which requires no SSB, whereas many flag states insist on the SSB part of it.
