Just got the link in an email from my dad... no clue where he got it from. I'll ask when I talk to him later. Probably some random post off a forum somewhere though.

It's a bit of skit done by Clarke and Dawe at the end of the 7:30 Report which is on the ABC ( Australian news )

I'm trying to figure out if it's a comedy bit, or if that was an actual interview. I've seen and heard crazier things, so I have to ask!

Clarke and Dawe are political satirists but they get off the tangent every know and then if somthing big in the news happens

Sounds more like a dead parrott to me.

It definitely had the dead parrot feeling... The interviewee even had a strong John Cleese vibe I felt.

    "Timely" Promotions

Speaking of John Cleese-- "And now for something completely different!"

How's that for a segue into a new thought... regarding promotions.

I can't speak for all, but my YF-supplied 2007 Lazzara wall calendar (Thank You, Carl) just ran out...tempus fugit!

Seems that there are a whole boatload (sorry) of builders supporting this august Forum, and some of the best of them produce great calendars.

Maybe just one of them might like to have me promoting their wares on the wall in my opulent offices which do see, from time to time, well-heeled clientele?

    Just a thought, ahem.

    Oh, and bigger is better.

My current calendar ran out yesterday too. :( I'm kinda' bummed cause I totally forgot to order the 2008 edition and when I emailed the photographer about it he was already sold out. It's a shame, I'm missing out on all of this: http://andrewharvey.ca/2008_calendar.htm

    Loren,
Which stall number is that, 1 or 2?
BTW, your well-heeled clientele are not there for you. Sorry buddy. lol

I do agree about the calendars, though. Lazzara is still hanging on my wall, stuck in November. I think my boss wants to buy one (the calendar, not the yacht).

    See you in Miami?
