I'm thinking of replacing my Jabsco 52600-0092 fresh water pump with a flow-sensing Marco UP6/E. Marco quality seems much higher (reflected in the price) and flow-sensing makes more sense than a full-on/full-off pump with an accumulator tank to smooth things out. My concern is pressure. The Jabsco delivers between 43 and 60psi. Based on my experience with rinsing soap off in the shower, I don't want to go much lower. All Marco 12VDC pumps top out at ~37psi. That seems a little low. Comments?

First time post, don't think I'm a 'Yacht' yet (47') but just replaced existing diaphragm fresh water pump (noisy) with Marco UP3/E, wished I'd used the UP6 to get more volume, unit is so much smaller and much much quieter. I did use an accumulator, Johnson 2l, figured it was worth adding that component to smooth things out. Also added a Seagull filter. Marco actually said it would work better with an accumulator but not required. Have had great support from Marco, used a UP3/OIL-R for changing oil from Engines/transmissions/generator, so far so good. Isn't it more about volume than pressure?
