Anyone know the air draft for this boat? It's got radar and anchop light, but those could come down. It's going to go thru the Erie Canal. Found out that a lift bridge is closed on the Oswego portion so I'm trying to see if the western Erie canal is maybe possible. I realize fuel, water, etc can affect it. I read a ad that had a 2001 48 listed as 15'6" air draft. I wasn't sure that seemed correct. Thanks

I highly doubt you can go the Western Erie, a very scenic ride, but the bridges are low, check the website and see what actual clearences are on all of them and measure your boat before attempting this. In a pinch you can fill the livewell, and fishboxes from the raw water pump and lose a few inches of draft.

    Lift bridge clearance 15.5’
Try Champlain Canal 18’ to Sorel and back up the ST. LAWRENCE Seaway Montreal
