    Dear all,
    New to the forum.
I’m looking to buy a boat to sail the Caribbean with my partner and have found the below:
It’s a steel hull, interested in people’s knowledge, experience, opinion and advice on the boat or more generally sailing the Caribbean.

Also I can find nothing on the maker aside from they used to build in Wales are do not exist any more.

    All help greatly appreciated.

Steel can be an excellent hull material for a blue water sailboat. It is stronger in many aspects than fiberglass. I know nothing of the builder and am not an expert by any means on sailboats to begin with. BUT, make sure to have a very good hull surveyor, survey it and audiogauge the bottom as well as inspecting the steel on the inside.
