Abeking and Rasmussen launch 78-meter "TITAN"​

"TITAN" was launched back in May 2010 in rather quiet fashion but this yacht is one to be of note. German super yacht builder, Abeking and Rasmussen is responsible for her construction. TITAN is the third in a recent series of 78-meter yachts built by A&R. The first of course were the 2008-built "Eminence" followed by the blue-hulled "C2". Although TITAN follows the basic design mold has her sisterships, she has a number of cosmetic design alterations which make her very easy to distinguish. Firstly, she has a gray hull making her distinct from her sisters. Her main tenders appear to be housed in a dedicated garage in the bow served by twin garage doors, port and starboard side. The radar mast is also totally redesigned as well as the sun deck. There are no protruding elevator capsules on the forward sun deck on TITAN.

The exterior and interior of TITAN was developed and designed by well known yacht design firm, Reymond Langton. In fact the other two sisters were both penned by the same design firm. However, C2's interior is yet to be seen by the wider public. TITAN's enormous 12-meter beam is sure to lend to spacious interior and exterior spaces. She features accommodation for 14 guests. The yacht has a compliment of 19 crew members ready to serve her. TITAN was scheduled to be delivered to her owner(s) at the end of Summer, 2010.
