I saw that, it's pretty funny but not all that realistic. The machine should've shut off early on when the door flew open.

    Hi,

If you read the caption the poster says he did some mods to it to keep it running, It would appear that he connected the motor to an extension lead directly thereby by passing all the safety switches etc, the lead can be seen snaking behind it as it travels around the yard.

My parents are on vacation so this would be a good occasion to try this fun. Although I am afraid they would not be delighted about my little experiment..:D

If its a German Machine it might take some more punishment till it flies apart.

Indeed it is German! But within 10 days of constant punishment I should break it's strength otherwise it would be good advertising for the manufacturer.

    AEG or MIELE near indestructable.

My Mother in Law has a AEG Princess Lavamat that is 30 yrs old and still going strong. It has had the door seal rotated 180 deg to stop a leak and a new plastic fitting for the water in after moving and the old one got broken.

Yep all our domestic appliances are from Miele.
Miele also has got a marine department and their products can not only be found on production series boats but also on yachts built Perini Navi, Palmer Johnson etc..
