If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't believe it. Very, very impressive! We know a Piezo system can quickly and accurately compensate for imbalance, but the speed in which the limbs react (and the fact that they are fully articulated!!!)... is literally life-like. Still in disbelief.

I bet it would be more fun to put a deer costume on it & chase hunters around the woods.

    :D

I wasn't being facetious. One outside observer noted that Big Dog will have reached it's development goal when it is capable of chasing a cat, and catching it.

Ah hah! I missed that part. Now that would be really interesting. I'd still like to chase hunters around!:p

That is so unreal...well, in a real kind of way, if that makes sense.
It would be fun to watch that chasing hunters! Of course it would need some bullet proof skin and a better silencer, otherwise bars would be filled with stories of an invincible deer out for revenge with a little flatulating problem:D

Very impressive..Hat of to them geeks in Boston who Frankensteined that animal..But why in the world did they not put some kind of face on it?

A dorky radiator for the 2 stroke lawn-mower motor is the head and the face?

C'um on geeks, make it look like a donky or a dog or something, but not that.

Kinda reminiscent of the old insult "If my dog had a face like yours, I'd shave it's @ss and make it walk backwards".
