8v92 in a 46.6 Bertram C

Hi everyone , I am looking at two Bertram 46 C , one has 8v92s the other 8v71s the boats are very similar in condition and price ,reading threads on here the 71s get a better report card but the dilemma I have is I know the boat with the 92s and know how was used the other I don't .Guess my question is if they were maintained and serviced correctly are they good motors and what kinda hours can I expect from them and what should I look for when looking at motors any secrets besides the normal inspections .Thanks
