70M Hoek Schooner

    The largest project to be in development has been convieved by the Hoek Design Team. This vessel is a large 70M long classic schooner-rigged yacht which a very neo-classic appearance. The design is said to be at a stage where wind-testing can be realized, which is a marvelous stage to be at in the development phase.

    The 262 foot long sailing yacht has been designed to offer spacious accommodations to the owner, guest and crew. The owner’s stateroom is to be located near mid-ships, taking at vantage of the 37 foot beam. The owner’s area will also feature their own private deck house and social area.

    There is also to be a navigational deck house for the purpose of navigating the vessel internally. In addition, there will be a social deckhouse for guests. Accommodation for guests will be spacious as well and come in the form of four guest rooms or cabins. The crew will have 5 double cabins and a large crew mess.

    This vessel is a schooner and will feature two masts. The fore will be the shorter mast while the main mast will be aft of the fore and be the taller. The illustration suggests that she will be finished with a blue hull colour. The deck structures will comprise of three distinct deckhouses that will be veneered in wood to accentuate the classic look and feel.
