    How many hours is too many? It is in a 1999 trawler with 7500 original hours. I’d imagine it has a lot to do with how it was run and maintained, but is 7500 hours something to worry about assuming proper maintenance and operation?

    Because of the high time or because you don't like this particular engine?

    I luv the engine. That is just toooo many hours with out service records including overhaul.

    If you luv da boat, Cummins offers great rebuilt engine packages with factory warranties.

    We see 15000 plus hours on those engines in construction equipment but they don't work as hard as a marine application and don't produce 330 hp.

    Didn’t particularly love the boat. 1999 Eagle trawler. We prefer an open layout. This boat was nice but made up of many small spaces rather a nice open salon, galley, dinettes area.
