53M 'Mickhail Vorontsov'

The Mickhail Vorontsov is a 53M long sail vessel that is currently under construction at the Dream Ship Victory Shipyard in Turkey. What is so special about this new vessel is that she will be built from all wood. That is right, all wood.

Not only will she be built from all wooden construction but at 53M long, she will become the world's largest classic all wooden sail yacht. She is well underway in her construction and her hull and deck are said to be completed. The deckhouses are being built.

To make this very special project come all together professionally and to code, a number of designers have been employed. Among them are the famous Ken Freivokh, Dykstra partners and Fairlie architects . With these talented and experienced teams, the Mickhail Vorontsov will be a feat of modern engineering.

On board this sail vessel, one will find many modern amenities and spaces. According to Ken Freivokh's website, she will have a duplex owners room. The owner will also have a full deckhouse saloon for themselves. Set apart from the owners space there will be a sauna and a gymnasium. As expected on this type of yacht, there will be extravagant wooden finishes to the interior.
