I am looking at purchasing a 42 Post the only issue is that it has twin beds in the master stateroom. Can anyone tell me if this can be modified without compromising the integrity of te boat??

Not sure if you are aware that Post offered either the twin beds or a full size in the master stateroom. If you look at others for sale online, you can see how the factory did it.

I was on one 42 where they cut down the nightstand in between the twins and setup a filler board and cushion. Then the bed is as large as possible. You keep all the current drawers\storage under the twin bunks. Probably the cheapest modification to do and it gets you a much larger bed than making it a single full size.

    Good luck.

It was a nice winter time project.
