    Well gross is around 17,000
    Less engines & trans-1,400
    less superstructure and
    glass -1,500
    less interior cabinetry,
    decks and tanks -1800
    less anything else I'm
    leaving out -500

around ten or eleven thousand I'd say ; Are we contemplating scrapping the old girl? - None of my buisness, but I hope not!

    roamer weight

    Hi Watjam..
    thanks for the reply..
according to spec sheet 36' roamer was 15,400-16,000lbs in steel
3600 lbs less for alum. so thats about 12,000 lbs stock.
i know that the engines wi/trans are 1140 lbs each thats 2280 for both.
thats all i can know for sure...
what I have is a stripped down hull with motors and trans .
I made a trailer for it and was wondering what kind of wheel loading i was looking at.. I feel that just the motoers and hull are no more than 6000 lbs
there is ALOT of weight in all the accesories ALOT.
I intend to build up with just bare min at first see what knid of performance i get.
I trailerid it accross a fiield and was supprised how easily it towed quite light.

wow, that trailer is very impressive! That is great to be able to move a boat of that size and not have to call a boat transport service to do it. Nicely done.
