   Hi Folks, this is my first post. Wondering if anyone could help me identify the two stainless brackets on the back edge of my swim platform. I'm having trouble attaching an image. Thankyou

   Welcome to YF. A pic would help, but most likely they're for mounting a dinghy. The dink would have reciprocal brackets. They lock together and you roll the dinghy up parallel with the transom.
