Trying to find a diagram as to how the 240 connects inside the main panel after coming thro the iso transformer. It feeds 3 sub panels, 120 volt house stuff then two smaller sub panels with stove, dryer compressor etc, all the transfer switches can use either shore, gen 1 or gen 2 at the same time. very difficult to see inside with all the support framework etc but if I could see a daig that would show it simply would really help, lots of info on the net but not really applicable to me.

OK, will be difficult as there are a massive amount of of wires in there, a question if someone knows the answer, does all power sources terminate normally terminate onto a bus bar prior to distribution to ea transfer switch. i.e shore power , gen 1 and gen2.
They should go directly to the transfer selector switch or switching mechanism on newer boats. You cannot combine the supply from the generators and shorepower at a bus bar because if a generator is running while you plug in shorepower, you'd have a massive electrical meltdown. What specific issue are you having in order to ask this question?
i don’t know how it was done on your boat but if you have two or more set of selector switches (whether rotaries or breakers with safety slides) the feed for all sources can be routed two ways. Either from the sources (gens/xformer) to the first selector and from there to the next or to a set of bus/post from which it is split to each transfer switch. I think the second way is better if you have more than 2 sub panels with their own selectors
I Think Pascal has it ea selector sw can use ea source of power so there may be a post distribution set up
Can you identify the brand/model of the panel by any chance or is it an in-house custom? A few of the major panel manufacturers do publish schematics and drawings of their standard panels. A picture might allow some of us on here to identify it if you can't find any tags or labels.
On one of our customers boats we are adding two 230Vac inverters with 115Vac auto transformer outputs. Dual auto switching input (shore or generator). The dual output allows the generator or shore power to supply to water heaters and heavy ACv load items while charging the LIs batteries. On inverter only the water heaters and some other heavy ACv items will not run. Gen-sets will auto start-stop when the Lithium-Ion sulfide batteries need charging or need additional help. Niehoff 400 Amp alternators will drive the system while the ship is operating. Now on our personal South GA budgeted boat's 115Vac inverter, I just removed the outlets I wanted on the inverter from their original buss bar, attached them to a new buss bar feed from the inverter. What 240Vac devices are you planning to run on your inverter? Batteries?
Depending on the inverter, you can just insert it in the black and white (US Code) wires at the top of the 120Vac panel. If a smaller inverter without an internal transfer switch, it will be a bit more work. This is where the all in one inverters pay for them selves.
Stove is electric but, only on one ring when underway, still deciding on best way to hook up need to trace the inputs and where they go. I have a spare input/output on the main shore incoming transfer sw, so would at least hook it that as a start.
