With the delivery of the 157 foot long Trinity Lady Linda of 2006, there is another yacht of the same name looming on the horizon. There is a Lady Linda that will go under construction for launch in 2009. This vessel will be significantly larger than the 2006 yacht.

The new Lady Linda is set for a launch sometime in 2009 according to the Trinity Yachts website. This might provoke the notion that she could be the successor to the 2006 delivered yacht of the same name.

The yet to be launched Lady Linda as said to be significantly larger, featuring a 187 foot long Overall Length. Under the yard number T050, it suggests that Trinity is building at a rapid rate which is great!

A steel hull and aluminum superstructure will make up the composition of Lady Linda. Trinity Yachts are doing the Naval Architecture and Evan K Marshall the exterior stylist.

T050 will be built to satisfy a number of safety governing bodies including the MCA and ABS Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service AMS. At nearly 57M, the Lady Linda is going to be a sizable mega yacht but every owner is not competing in a size race.

To push this beautifully designed yacht through the water, she is set to employ 2 x CAT 3516II HD's @ 3384 hp. Aside from power, the exterior paint choice is left to be decided by the owner.

On the Evan K Marshall website, a two paint scheme of the Lady Linda is provided. One shows how she would appear in an all-white paint scheme and the other in a blue toned hull and white superstructure.

Here are the available statistics put together:

    Trinity Yachts Hull No. T050

    Size: 186 ft. ( 56.69m)
    2xCaterpillar 3516II HD, 3384 hp
    Aluminum hull and superstructure
ABS Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service AMS; MCA Compliant
    Naval Architect Trinity Yachts
    Delivery: 2009
