Hi everyone, I am new to this site. Available to purchase are two-427 FE engines. Both are numbered as 1965 blocks. Port engine is drilled as a side oiler and is normal rotation, starboard engine is reverse rotation. Both these engines are complete with all heat exchangers, starters, carbs (new), distributors (new-with wires and caps), mounts, and paragon transmissions (P44L and P44R). I have all exhaust manifolds, and coolant reservoir tanks (cast Iron) as well as dampers and flywheel covers. Both RH and LH engines are for sale as well as both transmissions.

All are in solid working condition. I am in the process of installing 2 new 8.1 GM enignes and new hurth transmissions, therfore I am selling all the original 1970 Criss Craft Roamer parts. Prefer to sell engines as complete package (will sell engines seperately or as a pair) and will also sell the tranmissions seperately or as a pair. Accepting offers on all parts listed here. Let me know what you need.

    Update engine block casting numbers

The block casting numbers on both of these 427 FE engines are C8AE-A. Which are actually 1968 engines instead of information as stated in original post. I thought I would add that, in case someone was looking for a period correct or numbers matching engine for their cobra or mustang etc. Any questions, please reply to post. Thank You.

looking for suggestions on Prop size and pitch

Update, I have the new 8.1L GM gas engines installed and the new Hurth 63A transmissions(2.5:1 ratio) installed in the 40ft Roamer. I am currently running approximately 24 MPH at 2600 RPM maxxed out. Currently the props are 24X22.
I am looking for suggestions on prop size and pitch that I could get 3500 to 4000 RPM and increase top speed to above 35 MPH, If that is possible. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
