1996 Santego Horn wiring

    The horn on my 1996 Carver Santego is not working. We were able to briefly get it working while messing with the wiring under the steering console, but we
    apparently connected the wires for too long blew a fuse somewhere. We toggled the HORN circuit breaker on the 12v panel in the salon, but still no horn sounds anymore. Everything else (except the bilge switches....another problem) appears to work.
    Question.......other than the "HORN" circuit breaker in the 12volt panel in the salon, are there any other fuses?? How is the horn wired???

    I think AMG has a good idea for you and that is to call Carver and see if you can purchase a manual for your boat.
    It would prolly have wiring schematics which would really help you with this and the other problemsyou are experiencing.
