Hello All, I am looking at this vessel and can't seem to find out accurate information on the following: Favorable cruising speed with 7.2 MPI Merc's. Fuel burn at cruising speed. I really like the looks and layout of this boat and would like this info before committing. Thank you
Found this. Not the Mercs, but the same HP. Also included the specs for diesel. You'll note a substantial drop in speeds with the gas. That's a lot of boat to push with gas. I used to run a 370 with the crusaders. We cruised at 14- 17 kts @ 80% and had a range of about 111 nm if I remember correctly. That got a bit iffy running down to Florida in a couple of spots. Also, 19 year old gas motors may be getting a bit long in the tooth. Check the hours SMOH. I had a 1996 Carver 355--displacement was 18,000 lbs and it had twin 454 Crusaders. It got 0.88 mpg at cruise (3,000 RPM)
