Like on most boats this size the shower itself is probably on the same pump as other taps. The evacuation pump could be inside a tank where you have to open an inspection hatch on top, to clean or replace it.

    More info

The pump I am looking for is the one that pumps the waste shower water from the shower floor drain to the overboard thruhull drain.
    Thanks -Ronn

    Hi,

Can't you follow the shower drain and see where it goes and find the pump or go from the thru hull backwards till you find the pump?

open up hatches on the floor near the head and look for the drain hose. it's likely to go in a sump with a small bilge pump and float switch, although occasionally some builders use a small pump connected directly to the shower drain with a manual switch.

also, consider the fact that you may not have a pump at all. Some low end buidlers used to dump shower drain and air con condensate directly to the bilge...

or a previous owner may have removed the pump.

altenatively, run the shower, open floor hatches and listen to see where the water goes.

also, you may want to try forums specializing in smaller boats, you are likely find owners of similar boats there.

    Hi,

I have previously been told that this forum specialises in small boats and as such I should refrain from posting!!

Whoops; I thought this was the forum for "all" Carvers

I am new to this forum, I thought this was the place for "all" Carvers big and small. My boat is big for the little lake it is in.

I opened the access hatch nearest the shower in the galley area. What I found was the holding tank. The access hatch under the table is were I round the fresh water tank. I will try running the pump with everything else in the boat off. I will try to hear it. That is a great idea! Thanks for the info
