    Here is my Dad and I on his Matthews; I’m sitting on the forward hatch. Bay Head NJ ‘77
    I started off in a crib on this boat till I was 16 then he sold the boat for a 55’ pacemaker.

    Sounds like you & I had the same great childhood.
    My crib was on my Dad's 26 Owens.
    When I was about 6 or 7 he traded up to a 1957- 36' Richardson.

    Yes it does. And to you and all the Russel Post folks on here. I also spent a lot of time on my Uncle's 1968 38' Post with twin 427 Chris Craft engines .
    We were all at the same yard for years Johnson Brothers Bay Head Nj ( Morten and Hubert Johnson another superior boat builder, remember the BackJacks? ) for many , many years. That Post was a rocket ship!

    In their day they were fast.
    My Dad loved them and it was nice he lived to see ours.
    He used to say that a Post would command respect !!! LOL.
