As soon as one container ship left another is in, this one is Vega Sachsen berthing just infront of Logos Hope which coincidentally is getting ready to move as soon as the container ship finishes berth. No big yachts have berthed at the harbour since the "Mayan Queen".
The triple-masted sail yacht "Eendracht" just sailed into the Bridgetown harbour. I took one or two distance shots for reference...will upload those two later when I have more time. Anyone know of this vessel?
No no Heston, it is not the Oceanfast I am refering too. The name "Eendracht" is clearly printed on the bow of the yacht which is a triple-masted vessel, probably schooner rigged.
Earlier tonight the Feadship "Ocean Victory" sailed into the Bridgetown Harbour. She is alongside at Sugar Berth West currently.
Here is a nice picture of "Ocean Victory" alongside on the Sugar Berth in the Bridgetown Harbour when she was here. Photo by YachtPictures on FlickR
This sloop came and anchored in Carlisle Bay then made her way into the harbour subsequently. She stayed for a few nights and departed last night. Her name is apparently is "Varsovie". Anybody has any specs on her, builder etc. I never heard of her. Picture by YachtPictures from FlickR
A wonderful visitor swam in between last night and early this morning. She is "Octopus". Nice to see her again here. She is alongside on the breakwater of the harbour. I rushed this picture from distance...
"Lamu" is at anchor just outside of Carlilse Bay along with an unidentified German flagged sailing yacht.
