Mariner 33 Generator

    I'm in the process of purchasing a 1979 Mariner 33. The generator was stolen and I'm looking for a replacement. Any ideas?

    I would probably get a modern one to replace the one stolen. Kohler makes a really nice unit as does Westerbeke with the Westerbeke being a little less expensive. Kohler is now making low CO units, so they're a little safer at anchor and overnight.

    You are lucky somebody stole it. My Onan 6.5 continues to be a pain.

    Try to find a good deal on a newer generation of generator. My 3396 is an 82 model with the original gen set.
