Well it is that time of the year once again and another yacht show is about to come off. This time it is the 2008 edition of the Antibes Yacht Show. The backdrop for the show is being set in sprawling Antibes Yacht Marina which can play host to 30M-120M yachts for sale or charter. The show will get underway from the 17th of April and run until the 20th. Judging from the success had at the first show in 2007, this year's edition is bound to be a hit as well. In fact, the show coordinators have doubled the size of the event to better represent the yachting industry and its associated sectors. Here is a description from the event's website : "Staged on over 1,500 square meters of quay and 15,000 square meters of land, everything is in train to welcome 200 vessels up to 80 metres in length and some 200 exhibitors. Organizers have not neglected other important aspects of the event and more than 1,000 parking places are available in the port as well as specially provided council spaces next to Fort Carré. A free shuttle bus takes visitors from Fort Carré to the show and there is also a special boat service. In addition, Antibes Yacht Club is equipped with a heliport and trips may be made by air from Antibes to Nice Côte d’Azur airport as well as to Monaco, Saint Tropez and other destinations." *** For intimate details on the 2008 edition of the Antibes Yacht Show, travel to the event's website at: http://www.antibes-juanlespins.com/eng/news/avril/2008/yacht.html http://www.antibes-juanlespins.com
