    Hi Kirby,

    Welcome to YF. We have something in common. I've worked in drone recovery too, but on a slightly smaller scale. At least two incidents required your services... bringing in divers to extract 'em from the bottom. ;)

    Yep, we run the USAF's navy. Not many people know they have one. 5 boats,..3-120' drone recovery boats & 2-25' boston whaler, range patrol/security boats. I get paid extra, if I get my fins wet. Mostly, we sit out there, do a little fishing and go home. OK,OK, we do spend many days at the dock, chipping, painting, mopping, sweeping etc,...Wouldn't want anyone to be calling their congressman.:rolleyes: It's a cool job and helps me support my boating habbit.
