So word on the dock is that TWINE was dropped while off loading in europe. Reliable source. Not sure where, not sure when. Owner not happy. Anyone got scoop? Have people not figured out that picking up big ass boats with cranes is bad?

An extremely reliable source informed me that the vessel was in fact dropped in Italy while off loading and is on it's way back to the US for repairs possibly back @ Rybovich.

Monday I recieved firm intel on the dropping. 21 year old load master. 25 feet up. One of front straps slipped, then cut. Boat fell back onto its cradle and sliced a nice gash. Boat hung stern up in the air for something like 6 days because no one wanted to touch it! No interior damage not even a fridge door opened. Boat was welded up and sent on it's way to Monaco. 3 crew quit the day of the incident. Boat is supposed to be heading back due to no bookings for Med charter. Someone else on this forum probably has scoop on this but is keeping his mouth shut! (uh hum)
