To our esteemed members who have so much time on their hands they've managed to accumulate 100 posts or more, you've been given a new user title... "Senior Member". Congratulations, you’re old. Now take a swig of prune juice. For the rest of you slackers that can't muster up anything to say, you're stuck in “Registered User” land. So here’s a suggestion… say something! That’s today’s update. Add it to your resume. Brag about it over a beer. Use it to swoon women... or join the AARP.
Step one: the pointy end is the bow. Pronounced like bough not like the bow which is used to launch projectiles commonly called arrows. Ah, forget it. My little jar of sea water with sand in it from a beach in Nigeria needs to be opened and sniffed like a glass of good Bordeau. That's better.
Getting the numbers up! I am going to add a comment because I think it is worth while to have something to shoot for and I also want to log one more post to get me there.
It's SO ironic you posted! I was about to tell Castlerock not to feel bad, because at Neil's rate, he'll be a senior before he becomes a sr. member.
I am proud of my new senior status, but then again I am easily excited, when I received my turquoise star on eBay I printed it out and put it on the refrigerator.
Well, here is my contribution to the magic 100 and the senior title.. Wait, I would rather stay young and be the junior guy on the block. (Swooning the young girls instead of the senior ones.. )
Oh boy... I better clarify "Senior Member" status. It's not a number. vB's default to promote Registered Users to Senior Members is 100 posts. I disabled the "user title" function when I launched YF because post quality could be compromised by title status. There are a few members who have made outstanding contributions to YF's content, yet they have not eclipsed 100 posts yet. As those members approach the triple digit mark, I'll bump 'em to old man status. Taking the night off guys. See you in the AM.
I am a senior member. Thanks Mr. Wilson (you young guys may not know where that came from). If you count it in dog years, I was a senior a long time ago. And hanging around here, my life is going to the dogs. Woof! Thanks for the not-so-honorable mention, as it makes me feel older than I am (and feel). Congrats all you old-timers.
