I'm so confused. Big seas people packer ships can rock from a pram running faster than 5 MPH? Are there any cases of wake damage? Are there any cases of over 5 mph as a factor in safety? The harbor (Nassau/Paradise Island) is a dangerous mess just looking at it with nothing moving,, much.. The big question; Who actually sponsored this law? Revenuers or safety officers? When I was young and stupid, I visited Nassau once. It was a fast lesson that I was stupid. NEVER been back since (not so stupid after all)..
The Harbor was no wake for the past year, NOBODY enforces it and according to one dockmaster they have no way of enforcing it. There's no provision for writing tickets like they do here in their laws or something along those lines is what I was told. The locals have been blasting through there on big center consoles anyways.
