One of my chock pads fell off the davits. Anyone know where to source a replacement. It’s a square piece and white. I’m not sure of the material used. It’s a UMT universal davit. It’s one of the square end pieces.
A picture is required, here. There may be a nomenclature misapplication as davits generally don't have "Chocks".
You're right; the pictured item is a chock, but it's part of a cradle. If it were mine, I would find some white rubber. https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=154852
That is not going to work. I knew what OP was asking for because I need the same and started following the thread. It is a harder, thicker rubber probably 1/2" to 1" thick and cut to fit the portion of the chock touch the hull. Have you tried calling UMT for suggestions?
You're right, thicker is better, but I was unsuccessful in finding anything in 1/2" as an example for the OP. It may be possible to glue layers together with 3M 5200? Too bad about the color on these: https://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=118184&catid=1062
